Made entirely from tightly spun polyester staple fibers, our thread offers excellent tensile strength (ranging from 9 to 14 lb [40–60 N] depending on Tex rating) and low elongation (15–20 %), ensuring each stitch remains secure under vibration or movement. Because it is polyester, it resists mold, mildew, and most chemicals, maintaining integrity even in damp or dirty work environments.

Whether you’re using a handheld bag closer at a feed mill, farm, or construction site, this thread feeds smoothly through compact, battery-powered or pneumatic machines without snagging or fraying. The slightly silicone oil waxed finish option reduces friction, allowing for continuous operation without frequent adjustments or thread jams.

Pre-dyed in high-precision dye vats, each spool maintains vibrant, consistent color throughout its entire length—whether you select classic White, Black, Red, or any of our specialty tones (Blue, Green, Orange, and custom Pantone matches). The dyestuffs achieve Color Fastness ratings of Grade 4–5 to washing (ISO 105 B02) and Grade 4 to light exposure (ISO 105 B04), ensuring your bag closures remain crisp, professional, and easy to identify batch by batch.

Available in Tex 150 Tex180 Tex200 and Tex 250 —the most popular choices for portable bag closer machines—this thread accommodates bag weights from 10 kg up to 50 kg. Each spool contains 800 m -1000m   of thread, wound on a lightweight, open-end plastic cone that fits all major handheld bag closers (Union Special, NEWLONG, FISCHBEIN, YAO-HAN and WAIG models). For high-volume requirements, higher than 1,000 m cones are also available.
