Production Process of Polyester Bag Sewing Thread
At Henan Deman Packing Co., Ltd., we pride ourselves on delivering world-class polyester bag sewing thread through a fully integrated, highly automated production line. Below is an in-depth overview of each major step—from raw‐material sourcing to the finished, precision‐controlled spools you rely on for consistent, high-speed bag sewing.
Polyester Bright Staple Fiber (1.2 d × 33 mm):
We source only premium, bright‐fiber polyester staple, chosen for its superior tenacity, uniformity, and luster. Each incoming bale undergoes strict incoming‐material inspection for denier consistency, staple length, moisture content, and absence of contaminants.
-
Blending & Pre-Opening (Blender/Opener):
Bales are first fed into our high-capacity bale opener, which gently teases and blends fibers to ensure homogeneity across production batches. -
Fine Cleaning (“Sweeper”):
The opened fiber then passes through advanced vibrating and suction screens to remove metal fragments, paper, and other impurities, raising the cleanliness index to >99.9%.
Quality and Control is matters
Carding Machine (High-Precision Cylinder & Flat Cards):
Our carding line separates and aligns fibers, forming a uniform “silver” web. This process removes residual neps and short fibers, setting the stage for even drafting.
-
Autoleveling Draw Frame (Trützschler, Germany):
Slivers from multiple carding laps are merged and drafted under tight draft control. The Trützschler draw frame’s electronic autolevelers ensure each sliver attains the target linear density and moisture level, reducing thick–thin variations to <1%. -
Roving Frame (Rough & Fine Roving):
The drawn slivers feed into our two-stage roving system: coarse roving for initial twist, then fine roving for final attenuation. An integrated automatic transfer system conveys roving bobbins seamlessly from rough to fine frames, maintaining tension consistency and eliminating manual handling errors.
- Automatic Ring Frame with Murata Bobbin Changer:We employ Japanese Murata ring frames equipped with tray-type automatic doffing. This innovation dramatically boosts uptime, speeds change-overs, and cuts down on yarn defects via precise bobbin placement and torque control.In-Process Monitoring:
Each spindle is monitored for end-breaks, Uster evenness, and twist level, ensuring every yarn meets our stringent specifications before winding.
-
Multi-End Plier (Coning Machine):
According to customer orders, single yarns are merged on our computerized pliers. For example, producing NE12/4 involves combining four strands of 12 Ne singles, synchronized by electronic tension control to guarantee perfect parallelism. -
Twister (Double Twist Frame):
The plied yarn then enters the twisting section, where we apply precise twist multipliers (TPI) to enhance tenacity and abrasion resistance. Twist tensions are adjusted in real time to compensate for ambient temperature or humidity changes.
-
RE-Winding Machine:
For final package conversion, our re-winding machines can wind onto cones or tubes in sizes from 150 g to 10 kg, or to exact lengths (1,000 m, 10,000 m, 25,000 m, etc.). -
Lubrication & Sizing Application (Optional):
Upon request, we apply a controlled lubricant or sizing finish to optimize friction characteristics, ensuring smooth sewing and minimal lint generation.
-
Final Testing:
Every lot undergoes a battery of tests—tensile strength, elongation, Uster evenness, twisting angle, and color fastness. Certificates of Analysis accompany each delivery. -
Packaging:
Finished spools are shrink-wrapped in moisture-barrier film, labeled with batch and trace codes, and packed into reinforced cartons for global export.
Why These Process Matters
-
Consistency & Strength: Automated drafting and twisting deliver yarn with <1% linear density variation and +10% tenacity over industry averages.
-
Defect Reduction: Advanced cleaning and in-process monitoring minimize neps, slubs, and seam breaks on high-speed sewing machines.
-
Scalability: With a monthly capacity of 2,000 tons, we can accommodate both large-volume orders and rapid emergency replenishments.
-
Customization: From denier and ply to lubrication and packaging, we tailor every parameter to your exact requirements.
-
Traceability: ISO-9001:2015–governed quality management ensures full transparency from fiber receipt to finished spool.
